2021 Dry Riesling - Bottle

Insieme Wines 2021  Dry Riesling was fermented and aged for 12 months in Stainless Steel.  The grapes were destemmed, crushed and immediately pressed.  It has a pale yellow color which is typical for this style of production.  The bouquet is fresh and crisp.  It opens with aromas of apricot, pear and green apple with hints of lime zest and petrol.  As it opens the nose tends towards a slight touch of petrol mixed with jasmine tea, grapefruit and wet stone.  The mouthfeel is crisp and dry, medium viscosity with a long lush finish.  The palate opens to lemongrass, lime, grapefruit and petrol.  With a little time it quickly turns a bit floral and herbal with hints of tea leaves and lilac.  The petrol dissipates and opens up to white peach, wet stone and ever slight hints of pine (interesting for this variety), which is why I love Finger Lake Riesling.  The finish is smooth with bright acidity to carry lasting notes of fruit and minerality.
